F. A. Q.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
A: I deliver between 50-100 images pr. hour I am present with you on your wedding day; that makes a minimum of 300 images for a short wedding and a minimum of 500 images for a long wedding – so you will get a lot of images. I deliver more images than the average wedding photographer, and I do so because for it is important to capture the flow, atmosphere and different moods of your special day. All images are edited and you will receive them in high resolution (4000px on the longest edge) and ready for print. All packages include a password protected online gallery where all your images are ready to be downloaded onto your computer.
Q: WHERE DO I FIND YOUR PRICES?
A: Send me an e-mail via my contact page and I will send you the pricing & info material. Prices start at 15.000 DKK for weddings and 7.000 DKK for elopements.
Q: DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE COPENHAGEN FOR WEDDINGS?
A: I would love to travel for your wedding! Whether it be around Denmark, Europe or further away, count me in! :) Fill out my contact form and let's talk more about the details :)
Q: CAN WE MEET BEFORE BOOKING?
A: Yes! It is a must :) I would love to invite you for a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe in Copenhagen. And if we live far apart, we can meet over a virtual cup of coffee on Skype :) Your wedding photos are so important and you need to find a photographer you have great chemistry with.
Q: HOW DO WE BOOK OUR WEDDING DATE WITH YOU?
A: For me great wedding photography starts with trust and good chemistry between me, the photographer, and my couple, I require that we meet up before booking to make sure we click and understand each other :) I would like to invite you for a cup of coffee or have a Skype/Facetime/Google Hang meeting. If we all agree we can continue with booking your day.
Your day will officially be reserved when you have paid a deposit of 50% of the total wedding package price and signed the contract.
Q: WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO GET OUR PHOTOS?
A: You can expect your photos approximately 12 weeks after your wedding date depending on the time of year and my travel schedule. However, max. of 3 weeks after your wedding you will receive a min. of 30 preview images from your wedding day to share with friends and family.
Since my photography vision is all about building a great relationship with my couples so we can create amazing photos together full of genuine emotions - it means that I spent quite a bit of time with all my of couples; and that results in a little less time for editing. Editing is a big part of my craft. And I do love editing wedding photos! I believe the way you edit a photo enhances the mood and feeling of the particular moment which was captured in camera. For me, editing your photos are 50% of my product. I am a combination of a hopeless perfectionist as well as a artistic wedding photographer :) I have a specific look and mood in mind for your images, so I really care about making your wedding photos look amazing - and thus will work on your photos until I receive the desired look. And because I deliver so many edited photos in the final gallery it does take quite a bit of time :)
Q: HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE USE ON WEDDING PORTRAITS?
A: I recommend that we put a side a minimum of 1 hour for photographing (excl. transportation time). Your wedding day goes by so swiftly and with friends and family all wanting your attention, it can be easy to forget what day is all about: YOU! I believe the photo session on your wedding day, is an important time for the two of you to connect – a time during the day, where you get to just be you, focusing on each other, a time for lots of cuddles & kisses. It has to be fun, romantic and stress free so therefore an hour is what I suggest.
I will gladly help you make a schedule for the day. Also, If I am photographing your whole wedding, I would love it if we could sneak out at sunset and spend 15-20 minutes and take a few more pictures. It is the best and most beautiful light of the day and you will get to sneak away from the party and have some moments to yourself (plus one sneaky photographer).
Q: WHAT IS AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
A: It is a unique opportunity for you to get familiar with how I shoot and get comfortable in front of the camera prior to your wedding! :) An engagement shoot is almost like a rehearsal photoshoot where we go to a cool location, have fun and take photos that will be prepping you for your big day! I strongly encourage my couples to have an engagement shoot, as it gives us a special bond; I learn who you are as a couple, how you interact with each other and what you are comfortable with - I want to capture YOU. You on the other hand will learn all my goofy sides and shooting ways, so you know what to expect on your wedding day. You will learn that it's not so serious, but lots of fun and cuddles and therefore the photosession on your big day can be something you look forward to and feel more relaxed around me and my camera. Ultimately this "prep session" is, in my opinion, one of the best ways of insuring relaxed, fun and intimate photos from your big day.
Furthermore the photos are great if you plan on making a wedding website or plan on using a photo of you for your wedding invitation! <3
Q: WHAT IF MORE COUPLES CONTACT YOU WITH THE SAME WEDDING DATE?
A: If I have multiple couples have contacted me about the same date, I make sure all parties know that I have had other inquiries on the specific date and encourage that we set up a meeting if they are still interested in having me as their wedding photographer :) I play with open cards.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE TO OUR WEDDING?
A: My wedding packages come with one photographer, but I have a second photographer available on request.
Q: WILL OUR PICTURES BE ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA?
A: Yes, I love being able to share images on my social media. I do so because I love sharing photos from these amazing days and it is important for my clients and followers to be updated with my latest work :)
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: I use professional camera equipment and I always (!!!) have backup gear with me in the rare case that something should happen to one of the parts. I use cameras with dual memory card slots, which means I shoot on one memory card, and the second card works as an instant backup in camera. When I come home from your wedding, I backup your images to three different hard drives to ensure safety.
Q: SHOULD WE ORDER PRINTS AND ALBUM THROUGH YOU?
A: I recommend that you order prints and albums through professional labs, but it is not required, and I am happy to help you.
